DragonRealms is an interactive text based role playing game where people from all over the world and from many different walks of life can meet and interact in a fantasy realm created by Simutronics. Fancy the thieves guild? Well if you choose this guild you will first have to find its secret location and pass the brutal test by facing our leader Kalag the Black. Of course... you could choose one of those other lesser guilds... such as Clerics, Empath, Ranger, Barbarian, Warrior Mage, Moon Mage, Bards Guild, Trader or if your really desperate... Paladin.

What's so good about DragonRealms vs video based games?
I'm glad you asked! DR is a text based role playing game that allowes you to use your imagination when creating your characters identity. you can invision your character and the lands around you exactly as you choose to. The game encourages creativity and allowes the mind to wander into a fantasy land that is unique to the players own personality. Role play is very encouraged and going out of character is not permitted in this game so that the role play enviroment is always kept at it's highest standard. this is strictly enforced by the game masters.

As you adventure in the lands you can meet other characters played by people from all over the world and interact with them. In essence, you are writing your own fantasy story book as you adventure and advance in your chosen profession. No longer are you a human house wife, struggling student or over worked laborer. Just for a while, you can become a Gor Tog barbarian, a halfling thief or an elven cleric. Perhaps you fancy the S'kra Mur race where you can become a serpent who adhere's to thier own set of rules and shuns anyone outside thier Ru'at. There are also the cat race known as prydeans and the Rakash who are the were wolf race whose forms change according to the moons of Elanthia.

Rumor has it that the notorious villian Kalag the Black, leader of the underground guild was recently captured and executed (or brutally murdered depending on how you look at it) by the Paladin guild. The shadowy guild is said to now be in ruines, heavily guarded by the Elanthian armed forces. What will this band of outlaws and fugitives do now? Are they destined to wander wrecklessly through the land like the vagabonds they are or will they re group and rebuild thier infamous guild some where else? The question still remains... is this the end of the thieves guild as we know it? Who will lead us now? And who will exact revenge?
